5 Ways to Improve Your Web Browser’s Security and Privacy

Delete the “Search Awesome” extension from your web browser

This is probably the easiest way to remove “Search Awesome” from your browser, so we’ll start with that. Search Awesome is an extension that can be found by going to the toolbar at the top of your screen and clicking on “Customize.” Once there, you’ll want to click “Add-ons,” which is under the list of categories on this page.
1. Click “Search Awesome” from the list of available extensions and drag it to the “Remove” button at the top of your screen. Once you’ve done this, you will have to restart your browser.
2. Now that it’s removed, you can go back to this page and locate the icon on your toolbar called “Customize,” which is located in the top right-hand corner of your screen. Click on it.
3. Now search for “add-ons” again and this time select the “Manage” option instead of the “Add-ons.” This will bring you to another screen where you can see all of your available add-ons and uninstall Search Awesome by dragging it to the box on the right. After that, restart your browser.
